DJ
Shark debuted as a DJ in 1995 - In Palma Club in Ljubljana,
Slovenia. He soon took over Saturday nights, taking part
as an organizer and resident DJ. He was resident in most
of Slovenian house clubs just to name a few: Palma Club,
K-4, Propaganda Club, Central, Martin Krpan, Ambient and
Africa. He also played in Slovenian best known Ambasada
Gavioli. As a special guest star he played on several parties
abroad (Austria, Italy, Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia, Hungary,
Germany, Spain, USA, Lithuania).His first studio experience
began in 1997 when he took parts in a |
technical team in Kan Studio where
he made the music for advertising campaign for Coca-Cola
company. He took part in Miami on WINTER MUSIC CONFERENCE
where his international dj career started. In 1999 he
produced the singles Sweet Love and Disco Harmony published
on Pushpac records and were also found on Ibizas El Divino
2000 compilation mixed by Paul Johnson.He was already
released on Pushpacs compilation where he was found together
with some famous producers like DJ Skip, Paul Johnson,
DJ Rhythm, David Duriez and more.His former released singles
were SWEET LOVE on Pushpac Records, FIRST TIME on Prima
Facie, rmx for Stouffer on Primary Sounds, DISCO HARMONY
on Flamingo Discos, Talk Box (Pushpac), Never let it go
(Sharkastique), Afrotek (earresistible) and his forthcoming
releases are : Maximum Visibility together with Kemu on
Sondos, No Name together with Kemu on earresistible, earresistible
album together with Kemu, Hustle (together with DJ Skip),
Supersticious (Digital Dubs), Keep On Walking (Sharkastique)A
lot of labels showed interests to work with him such as
: R&S, Mafia Music, Boo Records, MN2S, Pornostar,
Prime, Sondos He decided to create his own label Sharkastique
Tunes with a basic idea to eminently present high quality
house music that is coming from Slovenia in the recent
years. In year 2000 he participated in Ibizas PARADISE
nights at EL DIVINO Club, where he met some big people
from house music. In 2001 he was found on two Ibiza compilations
: Latin Sounds Of Pacha mixed by Kiko Navarro and Ibiza
Space World Tour. Back in 1996 he became a co-founder
of House Nation -, in about and for house music radio
show, which is broadcasted every Wednesday until this
time. House Nation has been hosting several big house
DJs. It presents latest news, keeps up with top 20 charts,
hosts celebrities from music, fashion, film and media
and often broadcasts live from bigger house parties. He
covers several pages, related to latest news and trends
in house music for Stop, Glamour, Antena, Playboy and
Cosmopolitan. He also took part as co-organizer and coordinator
of 19 house music festivals and events that hosted DJ
stars from Slovenia and abroad, such as: Meet Me, Sindustry,
Cosmorama, Yearafter (the first official afterhour on
the 1.1.), Headhunter, Slovenian All Stars, Carnival,
Arrigoni and many more. DJ Shark is one of the new breed
of producer/Djs on the up and definitely one to watch
